Adventist Adventurers and Pathfinders programs offer enriching experiences for youth, focusing on personal development, community service, and spiritual growth.
Age Ranges
Adventurers: Typically designed for children aged 6 to 9.
Pathfinders: For youth aged 10 to 15, this program encourages older children to take on more responsibilities and leadership roles.
What to Expect from the Program
The programs aim to foster a sense of community, teamwork, and personal growth through various activities and projects. Participants can expect to engage in both individual and group settings, enhancing their social skills and building lifelong friendships.

Skill Development: Participants can learn a variety of skills, such as first aid, cooking, gardening, and crafting, tailored to their age group.
Spiritual Activities: Weekly meetings often include Bible study, scripture memorization, and discussions on spiritual growth, helping to build a strong faith foundation.

Outdoor skills, including navigation and survival techniques during camping trips.
Community Interaction
Participants will interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging. The programs also connect families and church members, creating bonds within the larger church community. Through community service projects, Adventurers and Pathfinders learn the importance of giving back, making valuable contributions while developing a sense of service and responsibility.
Benefits for Children
The programs foster a deeper understanding of faith, helping children develop their relationship with God. Through activities that require teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, children learn values such as respect, responsibility, and honesty. Participants interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their communication skills and fostering friendships. The hands-on experiences provided in skill development activities equip children with practical skills that are beneficial in daily life. By tackling new challenges and achieving goals, children gain confidence in their abilities and decision-making skills. Through service projects, children learn about their local communities and the importance of contributing positively to society.
Children’s Choir
The Children's Church Choir at Pearland International SDA Church provides an engaging opportunity for young members to learn and grow musically while participating in church activities. Children learn a variety of songs specifically chosen for special church programs, enhancing not only their singing skills but also their understanding of worship through music.
Participation in the choir is tracked, and children earn points for their involvement in rehearsals and performances. These points can accumulate and are redeemable for church-funded field trips, promoting a sense of community and rewarding dedication. Through these experiences, children develop teamwork, commitment, and a love for music and ministry. Our past field trips have included berry picking, a railroad museum, and hiking in state parks.
The choir rehearses regularly, allowing children to refine their talents and prepare for upcoming events. Overall, the Children's Church Choir plays a vital role in fostering spiritual growth and musical appreciation among our younger congregants.

Men’s Ministries
The Men's Ministry at Pearland International SDA Church is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community among men of Christian faith. Our goal is to hold monthly meetings where men come together to share their experiences, support one another, and grow spiritually. These gatherings provide an opportunity for fellowship, prayer, and discussion of relevant topics that strengthen our faith and resolve. We invite all men to join us as we strive to cultivate a supportive environment where everyone can thrive in their faith and relationships. Our mission is to enhance our sense of community and, through our actions, witness the transformative power of our beliefs.
Women’s Minstries
The Women's Ministry at Pearland International SDA Church is dedicated to creating an environment where women can come together for fellowship and engage in meaningful projects that uplift and support each other in our Christian walk. We strive to meet monthly where we can gather to share our experiences, grow spiritually, and tackle projects that benefit both our members and the wider community. This includes visiting those who are unable to attend church services, volunteer service projects, and offering companionship and encouragement to our fellow sisters in Christ who may be experiencing challenges. By lifting one another up and caring for each other as family, we aim to embody the love of Christ in all that we do. Together, we can make a positive impact in our church and the surrounding community while deepening our faith and connection with one another.
Evangelism
As we strive to fulfill our mission of sharing the love of Christ within our community, several outreach initiatives have been planned to enable active participation and engagement. Some of our more recent projects have included care packages for the homeless, our first vacation bible school, afternoon bible studies, renting a booth at the county fair, hosting an outdoor fitness program, and running a coding camp for our youth. We remain enthusiastic about exploring more evangelism opportunities within our community. Our church is always considering new ideas to connect, support, and share the love of Christ with those around us.
